The Project:

This Philip Island home was in a fantastic location with sea-views and beach access. The house had beautiful architectural features and spacious rooms but with minimal furniture the house appeared tired and lacked warmth. Hillside Interior Design was hired to fully stage the house for sale. We brought in furniture, artwork, rugs, cushions, linens and decorative pieces.

When we had completed the staging the house looked stylish and sophisticated but we still retained that “beachy” feel which people look for in a holiday home. The owners and real estate agents were very pleased and felt that presentation was significantly improved and hopefully so was the value of the house.

The purpose of staging any home is to attract potential buyers by maximizing the appeal of the property. This was exactly what we achieved with this beautiful island property.
